Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Research, Balaghat established in year 2018 managed by Vindhya Shiksha Samiti. College is Approved by AICTE, PCI New Delhi and Recognized by DTE-MP & affiliated to Sardar Patel University, Balaghat with an intake of 60 Seats.

Every department of college is fully equipped with required facilities as per the norms of AICTE and PCI. College covers more about 2.45 Acre of land comprising of specious and well planned regal building.

Special Facilities for Differently Abled students (DIVYANGJAN)

School of Pharmaceutical Science & Research have sufficient facilities to support earning by aiding for specific disability of the student (divyangjan).

To support and encourage the differently abled students for pursuing higher education and to be independent and employable various measures and policies have been adopted.
Following facilities have been made available for the differently abled (if any) at School of Pharmaceutical Science & Research -

Infrastructural facilities: - This include

* Railings in the college building for the support and balance.
* Wheelchair for moving within the college premises.

“In New Generation, pharmacy profession is undergoing a rapid change. From a Production and Quality Control Chemist earlier, the Pharmacist is today emerging as a Health Care Professional, being involved not only in the safe and efficacious manufacture of drugs and pharmaceuticals, but also in newer profiles demanding their discovery, development, clinical research and community. Simultaneously, a need for high quality standards of drugs and pharmaceuticals comes from the emergence of resistant infections, newer disease conditions and a deeper knowledge of biological and immunological processes.
The increased competition to deliver such measures has resulted in fast developing technologies too, that have revolutionized the Pharmacy profession with a large socio-economic relevance to the Indian economy. The need of the hour is then additional trained and skilled manpower. With this objective in mind Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research. Sardar Patel University Started Pharmacy Education.
Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research is located in an idyllic ambiance for academic activity, has excellent infrastructure and an experienced and dedicated team of faculty (both teaching and non-teaching). Though in its nascent stages, the Institute is well equipped and complies with all requirements of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), The Institute is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) (A Statutory Body under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi) u/s 12 of Pharmacy Act 1948 for the purpose of registration as a Pharmacist.
Training Pharmacists for the future is what we at IPSR concentrate on Along with the regular syllabus prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), our academic program also encompasses a series of guest lectures, webinar’s, industrial visits and workshops from professionals in the Pharmaceutical Industry, who keep our students updated with the current technologies and enlighten them of the various avenues in the pharmaceutical industry thus preparing them for the corporate world of Pharmaceuticals! At the same time we also encourage our students to participate in various extracurricular activities to nurture their overall development.

1. Career Counseling:
For motivating the students and proper guidance regular career counseling is done by teachers and other Experts from time to time.
2. Personality Development:
Regular group discussion, Seminars, Interview techniques and similar sessions are conducted for the overall personality development of students.
3. Scholarships:
All the Government Scholarships like GOI, EBC, Free-ship, Minority are available to all the eligible candidates. Stipend is also paid to the eligible PG students.

Facilities
1. e-Library:
The learning process is supported by a rich and voluminous library with all time internet facility for students and staff. Our fully air conditioned library is supported by a more than 12200 textbooks, reference books, national/international journals, periodicals and other readable articles online through internet. Library is also supported with library software to guide students for easy issue and return of the books. It is constructed with the help of many expertise and immense hard work just for the improvement of students with recent knowledge.
2. Wi-Fi Campus:
College campus is made fully Wifi with the Reliance JIO as well as BSNL wireless internet services. So the students can access to the internet throughout the campus. Library has special Wifi spots for students to use their own Laptops for internet.
3. Hostel:
Separate Hostel facility for girls and boys is available for outstation students at college premises at convenient charges.
4. Canteen:
Canteen facility is also made available at college premises providing hygienic and wholesome food, snacks, Tiffin facility for hostel students.
5. College Bus:
College Bus facility is available for students residing at different places from Nagpur, Ramtek, Mansar, Koradi, Khaparkheda, Kanhan, etc at reasonable charges.
6. Book Bank:
Extra books are issued to the students during their final examination preparation study under the book bank scheme.
7. Playground:
The institution has huge a playground for outdoor games like volleyball, throw ball, cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi etc. Indoor games are also available in campus premises like carom, chess, badminton, table tennis etc. Students are also encouraged to participate in university sports events. Sports uniforms are provided to students for participation in various sports events.
